 Let me begin by wishing you and your families, the very best in these difficult times. Stay safe, stay prudent and take every possible care of yourselves and your loved ones. On behalf of the Corporation, let me assure you that OPHWC is a family and it stands by each one of its members in their hour of need.

 The entire human race is facing an unprecedented challenge, that too, from an invisible enemy called Novel Corona virus. How we respond to this challenge is a test of our organisational values and strength. Taking care of each other including our workforce, contractors, vendors and others who are reliant on our ecosystem is the test for all of us. We should be opening our minds to new learnings and new work culture and with the various customers and different users in addition to the existing customers in the Home Department. Facing the new challenges and opportunities, OPHWC is determined to enhance its business of construction and infrastructure services.

 To overcome the challenges and convert crisis into opportunities, we need to promote technology and management innovations as well as boost the overall development of the Corporation in a well-coordinated and sustainable manner.

  We need to constantly improve the core competence of the organisation by adhering to the principles of our Vision & Mission. With the cooperation of each one of you, the users and all stakeholders, this Corporation will reach greater heights, in days ahead.

  As Police Housing and Welfare Corporation, we play an important role in the State’s infrastructure economy. We build certain crucial Infrastructure and security facilities for our users. We therefore have a responsibility towards all our stakeholders. We must do better than the rest and excel even during the economic downturn.

  Whether we work from offices, sites or home, our projects need to be completed in due time. Extensive use of latest technology will help us continue to discharge our duty to the state and users.

 Construction and infrastructure are the engines of economic revival and OPHWC needs to be in the forefront of such a revival.

 Success is assured provided we continue to work hard and more importantly ensure that there is no scope for any dishonesty at any level. Corrupt practices have to be shunned as it tarnishes the image of the Corporation and impedes its survival and success.
  I am confident that we will overcome this crisis, and re-emerge as a stronger and better organisation.
